Wet Chemical Kitchen Fire Extinguisher Class F/ K Fires
Wet Chemical Fire Extinguishers are highly recognized for their reputable performance in putting out deep fat fryer fires caused by cooking oils and fats .They are suitable for Class F/K- Kitchen fires and Class A fires .
•Class A Fires: involving ordinary combustible solids, such as wood, paper, textiles, and many plastics.
•Class F/K Fires : involving cooking fats and oils. Higher temperature of cooking fats and oils greatly exceeds that of other
flammable liquids, which requires the Wet Chemical fire extinguishers.
These extinguishers forms a thick soapy foam-like blanket over the surface of the burning oil which cools the burning oil and stops oxygen from reaching the fire and suffocate the flames.
They are perfect for premises where are exposed to the hazards of cooking oil fires such as small commercial kitchens,burger vans,food stalls,canteens and home use.
