Compressed Air Foam Systems (CAFS)
Compressed air foam systems use a superior fire retardant foam to put out fires effectively in a short time.
When a fire breaks out, the system releases a foam over a large area which coats the fire, cooling it and cover the surface of flammable material to prevent re-ignition.The superior foam in the extinguishing medium reduces the surface tension so that the foam agent can penetrate deeper into the flammable material and achieve a better quenching effect.
CAFS suppresses fires quickly from an excellent throw distance with less damage to the area. Compressed Air Foam Systems is ideal to a much smaller area than alternative solutions, greatly decreasing your infrastructure requirements and cost.
The systems are suitable for offshore oil and gas facilities, heliports and helidecks, small or large rapid response Vehicles, fuel pumping and storage locations,mining, marine vessels and boats, racetracks, fracking and frac tank protection, airports, forestry, and parking garages etc.
